Full Moon Harvest

It is nearing the end of the harvest.
Apples dropping, tomatoes dried up, courgettes starting to rot - the stalks of the cover crops reaching for the low sun. Everything is preparing for the dark - to die and be reborn in Spring. Typically, we harvest our own internal life at the full moon. Glean from what has been and what is always passing away.
Forgiveness, acceptance, temperance. My heart has grown - has been watered by many tears and has found a new calm. Perfect for this full moon - a new trust - to settle here - to find calm and allow everything else to come to it’s right place from there.
And you?
What are you harvesting this full moon my love? What has come to you bidden and unbidden? Who are you becoming out on the West winds - as Spring blows in your face and your body stretches out over the dawn? This essential unmasking of the one who is under everything: it is not a communion of two becoming one - but a still standing - the complete individual, whole, apart from the other that I’m learning is love. I do not complete you as you cannot me. I desire greatly to live close by you - but there is a giving space to be free that I harvest for us both, if not just for me - and this is our love - together and apart becoming more fully ourselves no matter how painful and inconvenient that may be.
