One is one. Two is two – these thing don’t have to counter part or be the same – in quantum worlds they don’t quite exist like this and ours is both physical and quantum together – where does that leave us? In a still point, orbiting each other as we did on the memorial floor – entranced and wanting more – and repelled, needing to be alone – the flux and form of our lives is tremendous. Always awaking, alighting upon new ground as we say yes, no, maybe – as we stay in the field of orbit like this planet has managed to do with the sun for billions of years. Were they tempted to part ways? Travel to other dimensions? Wander in search of a greater or lessor star? I do not know - but surely in all this push pull – the force field called gravity becomes stabilized at a point and there is no leaving – just growing – growing of life – first liquid – then plant and animal – who can but marvel – at the love between Te Rā and Papatūānuku - wonders a lot – there to behold - a forest of fecundity and a world of magic that mirrors their solar parents. A moment in time where the worlds collided – where the primordial pupils touched and the I and thou disintegrated. Return to the Martian landscape of not knowing how to do this life together - knowing how to do a life together and apart – I fall apart as I realize how much in me wants happiness – wants to let go the old script of managing myself and my world. Your wild and mine – they are set to burn together if I get out of the way in time to see everything that arises is not mistake is not future proofed – is – is - is what it wants to be – we are still evolving you see – you and me – evolving because the life in us wants to evolve in a space were we are so highly conscious – if we knew any more we would both stop still in our tracks - the world wants more than we ever thought we could give.
