Love
Is patient, is kind, is not boastful, believes in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But also rips you apart - creates black holes, galaxies - brings into being what wasn’t by the greatest force - is to be reckoned with - is reckoning with me in this time as my life shakes forth it’s dust from it’s sandals and travels to a yet another village, another land. The one whose voice is not welcome in his home town has found another. We are all pilgrims on this journey through life - finding our temple to worship at and gaze at the glory of the physical manifestations of something far more cosmic. In my own flesh and blood I marvel at the world around me - children, ocean, sky, water, the plants, animals - all things being completely themselves. The dogs shake themselves out regularly - we humans should do so too. We hold so much trauma from our regular daily lives, not to mention those of our ancestors we have yet to shake out. In love, there is a war - of truth - of what wants to be seen, known, felt - it is love that burst through like a thunderclap at the bullshit we cover ourselves in in order to not see reality as it wants to show up. How we show up to what is really true and alive in us is love - is a way of bearing witness to what must be true - and yet we are not here yet - quite. Because on the face of things we are doing ok. Civilisation - humans - but underneath we are rotting - we are in advanced stages of decay as the old world falls away and we are yet to wake up - as Neo did -to the truth of where we are going and who we are called to be. The soul is alive in each of us - is peaking - moving- has a vitality from whence it came - and gives little fucks about what our preferences are. The small self wishes to stay safe - our soul wishes to realise themselves together with all other souls as we climb this mountain of human consciousness - barely able to contain the immensity of what love has given us - this birthright to fall through ourselves into the dark and find our feet in eternity.
