Body in flame

A fire – a flame – to the moth its all the same – lit and burning, dead on the outside – a fire on the inside – letting it take hold and really burn when it comes – not stop drop and roll but letting all the ignition take hold, to be so bold as to burn brightly with all the erosity that is give you – that is you – to be a scent that lights others fires with your eyes and tries to get out of the way of this flame force – forcing you to a new place – a new dimensionality of honesty - of letting yourself be seen – powerful and vulnerable all in the same body – energies flaming out from you like from God. Its all here – righting itself – feeling, finding itself – and you are the soothsayer – you are the fire lighter – the fire tenderer – you can be any number things in this life – but you must be aflame – must love yourself deeply for the world to know love – must be incensed with monotony – with boredom and let it light a new universe of creation inside you – inside you first – that is the seat of imagination. Where the fires have gone out from the old ones – your ancestors who couldn’t flame – there has been a passing of the fire stick – a new tree to hold the burning – an old effigy finished and smouldering as it hangs in the tree of your childhood forest – you always lit fires. You always caused a stir – the gasp of the children at their birthday party erupted into flame and the games that followed – games of fire and water – earth and trees - all mingling up in the blood of your veins even as you awake this morning as if still in a dream – noting, noting the subtle and cosmic shift in your own inner landscape – the greater plate shift fully in motion.
