At the core of things - at the core of us there is a an eternal fire. It lit when our souls were fused. And it is only going to radiate out in widening circles. Nothing can touch this core - it will now burn eternally. Whatever happens we will be on fire and burn though all our days in a happy, ecstatic blaze that leaves others baffled, igniting longing in the soul of every eye, every body - every ear that hears our cackles, hears our laughter. Turn not from the path - forge deeply into the magic valley. Take stock of what has gone before and trust, trust, trust that what work has begun will be completed. And on we go, to our national state - to the wilderness to be wild - to the soul of the earth with the nourishment of food, trees, the bird song - mouthed open, tongue hanging - the undone version of everything is arising. I will go this way - the way that I do not want to. I am consenting to let the small part of me die. And with it all the dreams and machinations of a small life - this is pain - this is glory - this is what I said yes to so many years ago as a boy, now a man - sitting on the sycamore branch talking to God and just being in solo communion. We take the bread, drink the wine, take the body, drink the blood. The last supper goes on and on - is there with us now - is projected into the future as tongues of fire dance on the heads of us and we speak new languages to break open the cages of the bound animals. Animus - wild, unbroken spirit of earth - come through me - let me be thy vessel - shake me, break me, mould me, make me thine. For not my will but thy will - and I say over and over, mumbling the mantras of I do not know - down on my knees as a way of being - closer to the fire at the centre of the earth - burning up inside me to overwhelm all my senses and just come - come to me and I will be free.
