Wild Man
Of my heart, of the tree, of the forest, wild and free; imprint of the natural state – at home upon the stone – able to listen to wind and bone – the chimes have dangled and are calling my name – I must be gone, go, gone with all the creatures as they make their passage with me – to where? I do not know – they make the ancient path as I go – but go onwards, towards the star point, panting we draw near water and the lead wolf affirms – here it is we settle for night. For night – for dreams – for reason untold we make our hole – recite our rites – this passage upon the old ship of my ancestors – seen in the blue orb - my druid forefathers, mothers – the he’s and she’s of the great spirit holding – their passing down aeons to me – hold little arms with my grin – are you imparting this treasure to me? A song, always a song – at once mournful and livening – it quickens my pulse – brings an animation – now we dance - move, stamp – stampede inside me – this coursing of old energy – wild and untamed is smashing the niceness out - is breaking things as it rips forward – has held it’s ancient seed with perfect chemistry – this bursting out is a marvel – the tree indeed has great stock and shall remain forever and more. Lightening strikes and the fires begin – not out of control – but lighting the wilds – so many faces – fierce and joyous line the forest floor – at home in the melee – I grin a fantastic grin and set myself to dancing, dancing, dancing, always moving and breathing, always alive and alert to what is arising – you have been chosen by the deer to make a path further on – into the dark realms – your light angel has a way with it – a dark angel you never saw - never knew – but know now – that the power of hell and heaven are at your beckon – the dark angel asks one favour now – that you raise your sword and cut away that tethering cord – the one you call mother – the one you love and let go of.
