Trees

They came for me this morning

the trees

the river

the earth

pulled me down, held me down

told me.

I was to be their missive

their sub-missive

but thats what I want:

to be taken over

to be given to this

base place

of earth - a transmission

point.

set.

Waiting for it’s time to come.

I walk up and out

the road is getting use to my tender feet. And the magpies quadle oodle ardle doodle

And I walk on.

Into a garden of delights, into this dance with you, into all of my life falling apart, glued back together with gold. If you could see me now. Holy cow. To think I would be here amongst birds and bees, amongst the thickest nature. I would have gaped. And alone. Alone, sometimes with children - it’s not what I would chose. It’s not. I want a perfect partner. One who will be with me - not over wrought me - tend and be tended to. And today I am here, putting one foot in front of the next, making a dance of this new life that is always speaking to me.
