I want to go in - taste the water – be wet and clean and set free. Take me to your rive of life – where there’s that Jesus song and the throng of good people all becoming their best selves. Take me to a river of life flowing out from me – making my lameness into currency I can use – that I can set myself free and others. This Rio Abjo is deep in me – I feel it when I get next to some souls – they mine it – pull it forward in me and I’m always now seeking these alive souls – alive to deep connection – to the intimacy in full scale that I’ve longed for, for so long – the whole gamut – sex, gut heart, mind and in the flow – moving between and betwixt – the clay mingling with the blood and the hair tousled over the eyes - blink back and your smooth porcelain skin looks up at the heavy cloud cover – leaves in hair – your skin bare – there is no care when I get out of my own way and let the wildness want what it wants. And you are here too – mixed in my nature – feeling your tentacles pulling me even as with you – the mixture of this new thing we explore – hurt and hurting – you have set me off wondering if I have been ill – conceiving – but no –this is just the passage of the line we cross when we give pointed finger to the culture and set our boat against the tide. Feel you – feeling into your fear - I feel, taste, know what you are wondering about and I will remain as solid and firm – gentle and able to weather your storms – a calm centre when you need to rage – a quite voice when you need to scream - a present body when you need embrace - embrace, embrace this space. This holy passage of fire – that know I will surely have to face.
