I considered the other day: What is important to me in this lead up to the christmas season?

When all the dates are calling to be filled I just want to drop back and lean into the breeze with ease. Want to simmer next year’s ideas - want to be with family and keep things oh so simple. So that is what I shall do - no last minute retreats here - no fermenting workshops - no mens yoga and dance - just this place opening to summer with us in attendance of its beauty.

Now that I’ve said all that I can let unfold what else might want to spring up in the cracks - might want to surprise me - come at me left field - I’m open - I’m open to that. And I am settled here - not looking to chase anything or anyone.

Content with my neck of the woods because the more capacity I have to attend to what is here now - the more of itself unfolds - utter magic and preciousness - what I thought was elsewhere is under my nose - what I long for is coming home to me from the inside out.

There is not a care in the world that can be cajoled into anything good or useful by worry, stress, anxiety.

When Jesus said: do not worry - He was not being diffuse - he meant it - do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow has cares enough of its own.
