Grá & Aroha
The love of two hemispheres - two worlds colliding - two people, peoples - those given to love - to unfoldment - each to their own - joined and bringing about a great axial turning - this wheel of life turning, turning, turning. Upon anything there is a space to make love - to be deeply intimate with an inner opening. Awakening to the essence of the being. The things not seen - hidden in the ordinary, everyday magic. And we can feel the adventure stirring in our veins - can feel the power of the two when we are separate - can imagine a force much greater than our bodies pulsing and delighting in your going and my staying. There is magic unfolding here indeed. As I feel my balls twisting between my legs - there is more than we have any idea about. And yet we will dream, share images and senses - the way you wake up each day has a bearing upon your life. We wake in the black - covered with the film of dried love - drinking in the light morning rain and beginning this old habit again of writing across from each other. This time at the turning of the seasons - that day when your body awakens to it’s function: now, Autumn, now, harvest, now, wood for the fires - food for the larder - and not a moment too late or too early - that is how we tread upon this earth - sensitive to its many changes - to the way the trees give up their leaves - the dry earth - now wetted some by this gentle trickle each night you are here. The fox has kept her pelt and god how I love the dark smell. The door she hung it upon is always ready and waiting for her return. I have learnt more with you than a life time before. You teach me, I teach you - the classroom of love brings forth it’s jewels - the way we must live out our ideas and principles - must bring into personal relationship all that we’ve exiled to outmost prisons. The coming and going has prepared us - and as your Grá meet my Aroha - we might as well hold hands and sing - for merriment is the call of these days - then those days ahead - adventure as new paths trod, new experiences open, and a land and a longing in both our hearts met and wet and opened into a much greater aperture - to hold a much greater love.
