Here and now is a new day

When you step off that plane

everything changes

like a lightening strike

there has come a new day

I welcome you with open arms

put my fears on the compost

make tea to share even with Mara

You have come so far child

What do you really want?

There is lurking a secret

inside of you

inside of me

In the forrest there are

subtle clues

as to the whereabouts

of our wild animals

the scent is thick

do not scare them off

Sudden movement is from yesterday

quiet stillness is beckoning

creeping it’s smile around the corner

the rain washes everything

fills up the tanks

so that we can have water forever.
