Lead with love

Not with a dove, not cooing or ahhs, but love - the opposite of fear. I so often lead with fear - the constriction of wanting to protect the soft places - the natural instinct to plate up - cover the gooeyness - so you don't get hurt - its hard to experience the beauty and pleasure of the world in armour - to nakedly swim among the kelp forests - to bike down in the wind in your shorts and tee shirt - and yes, it does hurt when you fall - when you let life lead you - unprotected - but even then - support is there - the nursing of grazed knees - the warmth of a hot shower - these things - but, I guess sometimes the hurt is deep and the pain can linger for a long time - years for some - and yet this morning, on this day I want, I chose to lead with love because it send a message to my world that I am here - available - wanting you to show up fully even as I pledge to. Try it on - first with my children as I make tea and toast and then later with you my love - turning up to hear from you - you from me -  a long time - a short time - all time - arising, arising - like nothing we can control - notice - noticing that everything is arising and decaying and in this quantum field of love I will sow my seed, plant and harvest - in the field of love I will live and lead a good life, a life I am proud of - a life I want and will be fierce for - lioness like - in the pride of my pride - feminine energy blasting - behind the back of my mane - I deliver all of the universe energy - I come down again from my lofty throne to engage as an everyday creature - reaching my hands towards yours in delicate embrace - a life lived with loves force always.
